Osborne Financial is a team of independent financial advisers and finance professionals built with you, the client in mind. We offer unmatched service, efficiency and experience in everything we do.
Experienced adviser and long-term member of the island financial services community, member of the Personal Finance Society and current Chairman of the Financial Planners and Insurance Brokers Association.
James has amassed some 46 years of experience in financial services in the UK and the Isle of Man.
Dating back to 1974, James became an adviser for Abbey Life. In 1976 James then become an independent financial adviser and co-founded a financial services company comprising of some thirty employees in the Midlands area of the UK.
Thereafter this business was bought out and James relocated to the Isle of Man in 1992 where he then founded what is now known as Osborne Financial and has continued to advise island-based clients ever since. James continues to develop great client relationships and offers high quality personal service.
Experienced independent financial adviser and protection specialist under the London Institute of Banking & Finance and current member of the Personal Finance Society.
Spencer has over ten years of experience in financial services and advisory in the Isle of Man.
Spencer has gained significant experience within the Offshore Investment and Fiduciary industry and later, financial advisory sector since early 2010.
Becoming a team member of Osborne Financial in 2011, he continued to invest in his experience taking a keen interest in the protection and insurance market whilst attaining his qualifications as an independent financial adviser under the London Institute of Banking & Finance in 2015.
Spencer continues to work with both personal and corporate clients delivering high quality advice and personal service across the Island.
Experienced member of the financial services community, head of compliance under the International Compliance Association and current member of the Personal Finance Society.
Richard has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry in the UK and the Isle of Man.
Working within the banking and building society sector, Richard has extensive experience working in roles including Head of Debt Recovery and compliance roles such as DMLRO and MLRO. Richard has also held the position of Director within a micro manufacturing business, served on BSI standards committees and is a qualified Internal Auditor for BS EN ISO 9002. These roles have given Richard a strong background in business and consumer debt, fraud management, anti-money laundering and compliance procedures.
Furthering his development, Richard is now working towards his Diploma in Governance, Risk and Compliance. Richard continues to ensure high standards and service are met for clients.
